Lee Millam:  Counsellor, Coach, Mental Health First-Aid Trainer for Individuals and Businesses and Mentoring for Counselling Students.

I use coaching, counselling and motivational interviewing skills and techniques with you. I have a diploma in Advanced Counselling Skills and Theory along with a diploma in Life Coaching.

I have personal indemnity insurance, regular clinical supervision and maintain my professional development.

I work with student coaches and counsellors offering mentoring and carrying out roleplays.

I offer training for businesses and individuals looking to volunteer as a mental health first aider.

  • About Me: 

I am a trained counsellor, qualified in 2003, with proven experience of working with people with many different situations and issues they want to deal with.

I am a qualified life coach. I have trained in stress management and group work. I follow the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework.

I have clinical supervision to check I am working safely and ethically during my coaching work with clients.

I will give continuing solution-focused support (whatever suits you best: weekly, monthly or ad hoc); going through difficult times and where necessary challenging you to help you achieve your aims.

My client-centred approach is humanistic, giving you the opportunity to talk about your current situation, leading towards how you might decide to best move forwards. I will give you non-judgemental, thoughtful support: listening to you attentively and challenging where needs be. If it is clear at the first meeting that I am not the best person to help you, I will refer you to a more appropriate source of support for you.

Many of my clients find a convenient method for sessions is by telephone or on Skype.
